This is faulty logic because there are plenty of animals (lions, tigers, bears) that eat meat but don’t eat within their own species.

There are plenty of animals that don’t pay someone to murder another animal for them and buy their dismembered parts in a grocery store for $1.99 a pound, too. There are also plenty of animals that don’t stupidly say, “If we’re not supposed to eat animals, then why are they made of meat?”.

did you know Vegans get 90% of their protein by being pompous in your face know it alls about it?

that comment made me laugh lmao and animals kill their food themselves, viciously. You sweet little kitten that you own as a pet is known of being one of the most vicious killers ever, because they don’t kill quickly, they play with their food and then proceed to toss it around before eating it. I’m going to stop though because being vegan is a choice and so is not being vegan so we should just leave each other alone about it. I eat meat, you dont. Big whoop.

…The whole point of ethical vegans is someone who knows the facts. That’s not being pompous. Don’t reblog a picture with a snarky ass comment expecting not to get a response. The whole point of this sticker is a “shut the fuck up” for the omnivores who ask the question, “If we weren’t supposed to eat animals, then why are they made of meat?”. Funny how you completely missed the point. Is it not a fact that animals don’t purchase their meat? There’s the difference. Animals kill their food, yes, but they don’t pay someone to do it for them. When you see a kitten in a store, picking out which food to get by themselves, then get back at me. Kittens don’t torture their food nearly as much as humans do. Kittens don’t keep animals confined in a cage for weeks on end, where they are unable to move or make noise. Being vegan is a personal choice, yes, but eating meat is not. A personal choice only affects one thing: you. The mass slaughter of billions per year is far from a personal choice, hun. Don’t call me pompous or “holier than thou” because I am far from it. There is a difference between knowing your shit and thinking you’re all-around better than someone. What’s your excuse?

asking me what my excuse is, and claiming to be vegan simply because you are more educated than me, is what makes you a pompous ass… I KNOW WHAT GOES INTO BEEF PRODUCTION, my uncle was a meat packer back in the ‘glory days’ when it was a dangerous job, and it’s the farmers that treat the meat like that, the actual slaughter is extremely humane.  I EAT MEAT BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO… stop telling me i am uneducated and asking for an excuse about my eating habits.  you are pompous, and have an ‘in your face attitude’ and while i respect your veganism, fuck you for trying to force it on us ‘less educated folk’ because it’s our choice if we want to eat meat, not yours.

There is no such thing as a “humane” slaughter. Regardless of species.
This is 2012. You don’t need animal meats/animal products to survive.
If it’s your choice to support the industries that oppress, enslave, exploit, torture and kill other living beings just for the sake of your tastebuds, then that’s on your conscience.
But don’t you dare try to justify it.
When you consume animal meats and animal products, you’re consuming to satisfy, not to stay alive.
I mean…
If you know what goes into beef production, and you know that they’re treated this way, then why do you continue supporting it?
Compassion doesn’t just apply to human beings. It applies to “all living, sentient beings”.
